One of my best friends celebrated her 24th birthday yesterday.
However, we celebrated her special day last Friday. Even the snow couldn't stop us from partying with Abs!! You know this is a special person when everyone on the invite lists comes (except for Lindsey but she was working and couldn't make it). We had burgers, homemade fries and baked beans but I think the dessert was the best food of the night.
This amazing cake was made by Carol Fanning and not only did it look amazing, it tasted divine. Buttercream icing with white cake underneath. Who could ask for more?
The rest of the night was filled with laughter. We told of stories of the past to new beginnings for some. Probably the best time I have had in a while.
I'm so blessed to have these wonderful friends.
Throughout the night - pictures were taken and you know how us girls are... if we don't like the picture, we had to retake it. Whatever did we do before digital cameras?? Anyway, the guys kept making fun of our hugging pictures so when it came time for their photo... this is what we got...
A wonderful time had by all. And a night I will not soon forget!
