So... the wonderful boyfriend brought home the movie that I had been wanting to see. It was long but a great movie. Of course after watching it - I was inspired to get up and cook. Luckily, we were already planning on having steaks for dinner.
MENU -
Steaks
Loaded Mashed Potatoes
Baked Beans
Garlic Cheese Biscuits
Dessert - Husband's Delight
Let me just tell you - that was the best meal we have had in a few weeks. Slept like a baby and didn't wake up hungry. Now for Terry's sister in law's birthday lunch at Red Lobster... I'm secretly hoping Terry thinks my garlic cheese biscuits are better than theirs! lol
Loaded Mashed Potato Recipe:
Peel, wash and cut potatoes into chucks then boil
Drain, place in mixing bowl and mix with sour cream, 1/3 cup of shredded cheese and salt and pepper to taste.
Place in a baking dish and bake with sprinkled cheese on top of potatoes at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.
Oh and GEAUX SAINTS!!!!!
