Do you ever feel like some days your the bug and the other day your the windshield? Yesterday was that day for me. Some days it doesn't matter what you do for another person, they still only see the bad or in this case the good I did for them. Usually the good is always taken for what it is but then there are some people who can't see past the good for the hatred they have for some one or some thing else. However, none of this should be taken out on the person who is doing or giving you the good. But yesterday, I got caught up in the middle of "that" war.
For those of you who know what I'm talking about, thank you for your kind words and encouragement yesterday and today. It's good to know that everyone around realizes it has nothing to do with me but everything to do with them.
And after hearing the news of my sweet and talented friends at The Clarion-Ledger today in their sad news, I thank God that I have things like yesterday to deal with. Is it fun, no! Is it stressful, yes! Does it make my blood boil, absolutely! At the end of the day, I'm still thankful to have a job to come to and do what I love.
