House Seasoning Recipe

Wednesday, January 12, 2011

I love to use a good seasoning mixture while I'm cooking.  And my favorite (which I use just about every time I cook) is Paula Deen's House Seasoning.  I use to purchase it from Cracker Barrel or Lauderdale County Farm Supply's Gift Shop but neither have had it in stock over the past month.  Well, I used what was left of my bottle the other day and was in a panic!  But, I found the recipe of the mixture online and surprisingly, it required few ingredients and was easy peasy!!

This is all you need...
Salt, Pepper and Garlic Powder
a cup of salt
1/4 cup of pepper
1/4 cup of garlic powder

Mix it all together and store it in a container in your spice cabinet.  And the best part - it's cheaper to make than it is to buy it!!  Enjoy!!!
