I didn't watch, did you?

Last night was the State of the Union and I have to be honest, I didn't watch.  I probably should have watched to see what is about to take place in our country through our politicians eyes but I found myself watching House Hunters on HGTV.  House hunters (I have a feeling) was much more interesting.

The thing is — growing up, our family watched the State of the Union address to our country, together.  And afterward, we would talk about the state our country is in and the direction it was about to go.  It was a big deal and sadly, to me, it's not anymore.  I feel like it is more about the President telling us what we want to hear and then not following through with his words.  Not only with this President but it has been the same with others in the past.  I'm sure I'll be caught up to speed on what was stated last night through twitter, facebook and the news today.

It's Wednesday y'all!  We are half way to the weekend!!!
