Saving them... one dog at a time

Saturday, January 29, 2011

Allow me to introduce you to a person who is truly making the world a better place.  She hasn't found a cure for cancer or been able to put an end to abortion, but she has saved the lives of many dogs who deserved a better life or were about to be euthanized before their lives have even really begun.

This amazing young lady is Ashley Owen Hill and she is the Feb/March 411 female feature in 393 Magazine.  You will be able to read all about her at the end of next week when the new issue comes out, but I wanted to give you a quick preview of the photo and tell you how you can help her out with all the rescues she is doing.

You may not be able to foster a dog or adopt one of the cuties on her blog, but you can help out with the many costs of helping each one of these babies by making a donation to rescue fund by clicking here.

The world could use more people like Ashley and I hope you will consider clicking here to read about some of her rescues and happy endings with dogs who have found forever homes.  Each story will pull at your heart but will also warm your heart at the same time.

"I talk to him when I'm lonesome like; and I'm sure he understands.  When he looks at me so attentively, and gently licks my hands; then he rubs his nose on my tailored clothes, but I never say naught thereat.  For the good Lord knows I can buy more clothes, but never a friend like that."
