Gimmie something sweet

Saturday, February 5, 2011

We love having guests over to the house, and most of those guests are repeat patrons.  So, they know where the candy jar is located and that is usually their first stop in the house.  It doesn't matter if there is a holiday coming up or not, our house isn't complete with some kind of chocolate.  I've had the same little candy jar since I moved out of my parents home many moons ago, but I wanted a better way to display the chocolate selections.  And, since Valentine's Day is coming up — I thought this was a cute and colorful solution.

It's a three tier glass cylinder and holds a lot of candy.
I can't wait to see our friends faces when they see the "new" candy jar — no more digging to find your favorite piece!

  1. Love it! I am sure your guest will think this pretty sweet! I also loved your sweet tea recipe! I'm so glad that I am a southerner! Also, how awesome it is to have all your pottery signed by Peter? Some friends and I did go to Mount Bayou and Marigold a few years ago to visit the famous pottery places, and it was so much fun! Hope your weekend is going well!
