Thursday Thoughts

Why is it that so many people try to be someone else other than themselves?  Life is too short to live your life wishing you had what they have or try to copy their every move.  If we were all meant to be and do the same thing as everyone else, imagine how boring life and this world would be.  Just as it says — you are an original!  Make sure people see you as an original and not a copy cat.

Everyone says it, "if I only knew then what I know now."  And it's true.  Can you imagine what your life would have been like ten years ago if you knew what you know today.  Life is a lesson — each day we learn a new one and become a better person from it.  Some of the lessons I have learned have shaped me to the person I am today and I'm thankful for them.  Life is a journey — embrace it every day.

Have you ever thought about your daily actions?  My mom always said, "actions speak louder than words."  Whatever it is you do:  receptionist, manager, cashier, salesman/saleswomen, etc. — you have the ability to make a difference.  Whether it is by smiling to brighten someone else's day or by making the right decision that effects your employees... you are making a difference.  What you put into something is what you will get out of it.  (Yes, I'm preaching to myself here.)  So, step up to the challenge and make it happen — not just for you, but for everyone else.
