Reunion

Yesterday was a busy, busy day for me which also meant a lot to miles to drive, but somehow I made it through and would do it all over again in a heart beat! 

About a week ago, some friends of mine and I decided to have a little reunion to catch up with each other.  And yesterday was the day.  We decided to have the first (of many reunions) in Starkville where Leilani lives, now.  So I drove from Meridian and Christy drove up from Florence.  It was great to see them... I think I kinda squealed when I saw both of them.  It's been over a year and waaaay over due!!

Leilani picked the place to eat since we were in her town and we ate an early lunch at The Veranda.  I'm pretty sure the appetizer was my favorite part!!  Their spring rolls are to die for!  We spent a lot of time trying to solve the world's (our) problems and then we recalled times from our days at The Clarion Ledger. 

Before we left (I had to leave early because of another road trip that afternoon) we took a group picture because we hadn't had one since 2007!!  

 

Next reunion will be in either Meridian or Jackson.  I can't wait for our next "meeting!"  See y'all soon!!
