My promise to you...

Monday, March 5, 2012

A week from today, I will marry the love of my life and over the past couple of days I've been thinking about what life will be like after the "I do's" and about the promises I will be making to him for the rest of my life. And since we aren't writing our own vows... I thought it would be nice to give you "my" vows that I would have probably wrote for our wedding day.

Terry, a few years ago you came into my life when
I wasn't expecting to find love, and ever since that day,
we've never missed a day saying good morning and good night.
It didn't take long to realize that my life would not be complete without you by my side for the rest of my life. The days, months and years leading up to our wedding day were amazing as I became your friend, girlfriend and then your fiancĂ©. And today, as I stand before you as your bride, I can't imagine being any happier than I am at this moment. I know our life together will be full of wonderful memories together, and even though we are guaranteed our ups and downs, I promise to be ever present as we work each day to make our marriage one that will last a lifetime. I'll always be your best friend and your biggest fan, and I promise to always put you and our marriage first. You are the love of my life, my better half and you have my whole heart from now until the end of time.

I am proud to be your wife,
and overjoyed to call you my husband.
I will always love you!
