The Sowell Egg Hunt

Monday, April 9, 2012

There is nothing like a little "friendly" competition between two sisters and yesterday evening's Easter egg hunt was just that! Meet the nieces... Emma and Hannah.

I should probably explain the "hello kitty" bags. The baskets they were going to use to hunt eggs were not exactly the same and when you have two girls (especially sisters), two years apart, with two different baskets — this can cause drama. So grandmother to the rescue with two of the exact same, "hello kitty" bags. Melt down averted.

Judy (grandmother & mil) and Richie (the girl's dad) hid the Easter eggs in the back yard. Of course, Emma tried to be the sneaky one — we caught her twice trying to peak out the window. Once all the eggs were hid, it was a mad dash out the door to find them. Pardon the "hiney" photos below, but how else do you hunt eggs?

We had a wonderful 1st Easter as Mr & Mrs and hope that you and your family had an amazing day as well.
