Here's what you'll need...
ground beef (85/15)
hamburger buns
1/2 cup of grated Monterrey Jack cheese
1/4 cup of BBQ sauce (we used Sweet Baby Rays)
Lawry's seasoning salt to taste
pepper to taste
onion powder to taste
Combine ground beef, grated cheese, BBQ sauce and seasonings. Shape the patties about one inch thick. Push a 1/2 inch indent into the center of the patty. This is what prevents the patty from becoming a dome. The burgers stay extra moist due to the BBQ sauce and cheese.
Wait for the skillet to get super hot and then apply a very thin layer of butter to the pan. Place the patties on the pan, indent side up. Reduce heat to medium and allow this side of the patty to cook about four to six minutes, but make sure it doesn't burn. The flip the burgers over and cook until done.

the hubs plate |
We had baked cheesy steak fries with ranch dressing for our side. The buns were also toasted with mustard (hubs had mayo and pickles added to his).
The burgs had wonderful flavor, however there weren't the prettiest things to look at. LOL But, we are grateful to have a recipe to use in the place of our grilled burgers for the time being!

We do a lot of skillet-ing (new word? lol) but yours look great!
