Birthday Weekend Fun

Sunday, July 1, 2012

Saturday, after a morning of sleeping in, we headed over to Abby's place for my birthday lunch.

She outdid herself with our scrumptious lunch...

And she gave me an Abby original for our home...

She said I'd always be a Mississippi girl! =)

She also made this homemade ice cream cake... oh yeah, it was pretty much the best dessert I've had in a long time!

The Mr and I enjoyed catching up with our Aborito. Thanks again for everything... we had so much fun at my 2nd birthday celebration!

That evening, we had my 3rd celebration at Ole Farm Beef House with my folks. That place never disappoints! It was good to actually sit down and talk with my folks instead of talking through texts and over the phone. We also see so many familiar faces... we loved getting hugs from the Busler's!

And then, we ended the weekend with one final birthday celebration with the Sowell's at...

And after lunch we acquired two additional passengers...

Once we were back at the mil and fil's house, we had cake and ice cream...

And Emma helped me blow out my candle on my Disney themed cake.

Honestly, I've had the best time celebrating my 31st birthday. We are blessed with the sweetest friends and family, and are thrilled that our trips home are filled with visiting the people who love us most!
