Six Months of Wedded Bliss

A half year has already passed since we said "I do." Can you believe it? Time is really flying on by!! We've had a lot, and I mean a LOT going on since we got hitched, but I've loved every. single. minute of it!

Six things we love about being married:

• We are married to each other's best friend. Seriously, we have no secrets... we know and love the best and worst about each other. And it makes us a stronger couple each and every moment of every day.

• We have the most fun in the kitchen together. Cooking together is hilarious. I'm not sure which one of us laughs more.

• Our favorite time of the day during the work week is from 5:15 pm — 6:45 am. Why? Because that is the time that we are together. From talking about our day, watching our favorite shows together, to snuggling before bedtime. It's our time!

• We are a team. We both carry the load in this marriage. We work well together, and if you can't do things together.... are you really together?!? We make decisions together to make sure they are right for us. And that assures us that we both have each others best intentions at heart.

• Our routine... and it's sooo much fun. We don't have kids, yet, but we still feel it's important to have a routine. And honestly, I think it's what makes us, us! =)

• Having extended family. We both gained an additional mom and dad with this marriage. Both sets of parents make sure we don't feel like we are an outsider. We both fit right in with each other's family, and honestly it seems like we have always been a part of them. When all the pieces fit together, you know God had his hand in it!
