the Sowell life's Friday five...

• Friendship is one of the best things about life - getting to hear and share the good and bad news with each other, share in the joys of ones life, and be there for them in a time of need. I'm happy to report that I saw not one, but TWO of my very best friends in the past 7 days! One was a planned visit, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit with sweet Abs and can't wait to have her back again. And other was a complete surprise! Angie D came through on Wednesday and surprised me with a drop in visit at work! Not only did I get to hug her neck and cry tears of joy to finally see her, but my wonderful boss gave me some time off to go visit with her. I've never felt better to see her face to face and giggle. Seriously, Wednesday might just be my favorite day of this week!

• We finally had our new, new furniture delivered!! We are now sleeping on our real bed, and not just a frame. The best part... nothing was damaged! Of course, I'll have a full post dedicated to our master bedroom in the coming days. =)

• Our bulldawgs are 3 - 0!! And yes, this calls for a big, big celebration everyday, but especially on Saturdays. We love cheering on our dawgs to victory, and will still be cheering even if they lose. And it's Maroon Friday, y'all!!! I even had someone else in the office wearing maroon besides me today! GO DAWGS!!! And HAIL STATE!!!

• The one thing every female loves is a little pampering!! Last night I spent a few hours at the salon and now have a fresh cut and color. I'm telling you, it's better than eating an entire cheesecake. (And there are no calories!)

• Y'all saw the master bathroom reveal a couple of weeks ago, and I FINALLY got to take a dip in our tub! Being able to sit and relax, even if just for a few minutes was heavenly. And I can't wait to do it again!!!

Hope y'all have an amazing weekend! We've got company coming in... but you'll hear more about that soon! Enjoy this beautiful weather, y'all!!!
