We went back to Mississippi to celebrate Thanksgiving with our families. It was nice to be with them for four straight days.
First up was with my family. Mom outdid herself again this year will all the yummy fixings. Turkey and dressing, ham, sweet potato casserole, peas and butter beans, corn, fried okra, cranberry sauce, fruit salad, rolls and that was just the main meal.
And of course, I opted for no meat (mainly because I snacked on it before the meal was ready to eat). Here was my plate...
And yes, I did go back for seconds. Hey, I'm eating for two remember. ;) And, we don't get this kind of eating all the time. Now there was plenty of desserts to go around... but I had enough of the main course to not have any room for yummy the carrot cake, apple pie or sweet potato pie.
Little Mar Belle had enough turkey, too! I don't think she moved from this position for a few hours.
We also got to spend some time with my granny and Robert while we were home...
And the Mr got to have some quality time in green fields hunting, too...
The entire time we kept talking about how different things will be next year with the baby's arrival. It will definitely be different celebrating Thanksgiving with a 5 month old. =)
Seems that our time at home always flies by, but Christmas is almost here... and that means we will be over the river and through the woods....
Hope y'all had a great Thanksgiving weekend! Tomorrow will be part II of our Thanksgiving celebrations.

I hope y'all had a Happy Thanksgiving!!!
