You can have all the wonderful makeup money can buy, but if you don't have the proper brushes to apply it with... it's really not worth having. The Mr gave me this new set of brushes in my stocking this year... I love them!

I love Bare Minerals foundation. It stays on all day, and it works well with my skin type.

I use a bronzer for my blush... it gives that perfect "glow" without making you look like "fake baked" and it's great all year round.

Next is my favorite... eye shadow!! You can tell which was my favorite... cause it's almost all gone. But I bought one almost like it as a single called "Sellout" and it's become my new "all over the eye lid favorite". I mix up the crease color everyday, just depends on my outfit or mood.

That's my morning ritual when it comes to my face. Of course, I have do another post dedicated to lipliners, lipsticks and lipgloss. After all, that's a full post just in itself!
Do y'all have some great beauty secrets that I need to know about? And as you can tell from the links... I'm a Sephora and Ulta shopper. However, I always wait for Ulta's coupons to come in the mail, and I like to keep adding up my points when shopping at Sephora! You never know when their 500 point gift will be the one you just "have to have"! =)

ReplyDeleteAgain, I'm jealous of your access to juicy stores like Sephora! We need one in Meridian (along with a million other stores...I'm still trying to convince the Mr. we need to move when I graduate). I've been looking at the Purity cleanser and was wondering how well it works. I have SUPER sensitive skin, but it's also oily and depending on the, ahem, time of the month, is acne prone.

ReplyDeleteI am so going to try the Erase Paste. I have a super dark vein that runs under my eye, and always makes it look like I have only ONE dark circle! Does your moisturizer help with wrinkles by any chance? I am on the look out for a more "mature" moisturizer. The lines are beginning to show, and I need to slow it down!

ReplyDeleteThere is really no reason to wash the face in the morning, if the night before is well cleaned, there is nothing wrong with cleaning the face every morning, the skin can not be applied excessively with harsh, dry cleansers.
