Oh yeah, it happened!

Earlier in the week I got the sweetest surprise from Jenny. She said my blog had received an award. Whoop!

{11 facts about me}

• I'm a Mississippi girl, and always will be. We may live in Alabama (love), but my Mississippi roots will never leave me.

• I can never choose between two birthday cards for family and friends. I buy both and let the Mr decide.

• In case you didn't notice, I love sending/giving cards. And I love the Target card isles. THE best cards!

• I love photography, and wish I had more free time to shoot! The Mr got me a fabulous new camera for my birthday, and I'm enjoying it more than any other camera I've ever had!

• I still think I'm 30 (clearly I'm 31 if you look at my birth certificate) and when people ask how old I am, I say 30. Oops!

• I waited a long time for God to reveal to me the man I would marry. And it was well worth the wait! Coming up on our 1 year anniversary in March! =)

• I bleed MAROON!!! #hailstate Go Dawgs!! 

• I might enjoy college football (the game not the socializing) more than most females. And I'm okay with that!

• The fact that I could eat chicken for every meal... maybe crazy in itself. (Not cooked the same way every meal, of course!)

• I enjoying cooking, but make a huge mess in the process. My mom says this is because I never took home ec in high school. Ha!

• I feel I'm in the best place in right now in my life. And can't wait to see what the future brings.

• Describe 3 legitimate fears you have... 

  1) snakes — y'all I'm deathly afraid of them. Anyway and all kinds! Can't stand to see them on tv or in person!

  2) falling — I'm talking about roller coaster rides that drop out from underneath you, etc.

  3) not having control — from the stand point of being kidnapped, held against my will, etc. 

• What is one thing you would tell your 16 year old self? Don't set a goal to be married, have babies, etc by a certain age, because life happens one day at a time!

• What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced? Finding out about the miscarriage and the weeks after.

• What is something you wish you were great at? DIY projects for sure! I see all this fun stuff on pinterest, and like many others I'm sure... it never gets accomplished! 

• If you could have a superpower what would it be and why? A few years ago I would have said to see into the future, but I know my future is in good hands now!

• Where would you go in a time machine? I'd go back to when I was 5... no joke. Pigtails, naps everyday, swinging on the swing set ... boy those were the days!

• What is your favorite dessert? It's a tie... cheesecake and husbands delight (nom nom)

• What is something from your daily routine? I straighten all my hair in the morning except the very top... I pull it back with a clippy until all my makeup is finished and then I straighten the rest. Every. Single. Time.

• If you could do one thing, and not have any repercussions, what would it be? Honestly, eat any and all my favorite chocolates forever and forever and not have the unwanted pounds that comes with it. 

• What is your favorite season and why? Easy... FALL! Because I love the crisp in the air, the holidays that comes with it, the SEC football games... there's nothing to dislike about FALL!
