Our weekly meal plan...

Sunday, January 27, 2013

Here is a look at our weekly meal plan for this last week of January. Man, where did January go?! I talked about how we meal plan in my last post if you are interested in doing it, too.

{SUNDAY} Since it's so nice out, we are going to enjoy grilling on the deck. Burgers and homemade french fries it is!

{MONDAY} It's still suppose to be really nice out even after we get home from work. Grilled chicken, loaded mashed potatoes and baked beans will be wonderful after a long Monday at work.

{TUESDAY} Homemade spaghetti, cause we love it, and it's quick and easy!

{WEDNESDAY} It's suppose to be rainy and nasty, so a crock pot meal is in the works. Loaded Potato Soup. New recipe we are trying out.

{THURSDAY} The temperature drops, so comfort food is needed to keep us warm. Homemade Beef Stew and cornbread! YUM-O!

{FRIDAY} Date night!! Whoo Hoo!!!!

What are y'all planning to have this week? I'm already starting to plan our Super Bowl menu for next Sunday!! Any recipes you think we should try?!

  1. I love you based your menu on the temperatures this week! You are a true Southerner. We are planning on eating light this week - salad, chicken, and lots of fruit since I accidently overbought. We also over bought on eggs, so there maybe a breakfast night in the works.

I make that same potato soup and even thought about making that this week as well. We like it, and you can even make it up to freeze and then you have a crock pot meal. Just add the cream cheese after it cooks awhile.

How was the hot sausage dip? We love that one too!

I hope you have a great week!

  2. Baked chicken and skinny hashbrown casserole, black bean quesadillas, and Tuscan soup are on deck for us this week!

  3. We've got the Mr's work coming over for a party next Sunday and I've got to start planning food too.

On Friday I met some friends for lunch at Corner Bakery (do yall have that) and I ordered the Loaded potato soup because it reminded me of you. It was delicious!

  4. I haven't decided what we are having this week, and I need to hurry up because I have to go to the grocery store after work tonight! We normally have Turkey Taco Soup or Black Bean Soup for a few nights every week, but other than that I am stumped. I really want to make Salsa Chicken again, so maybe that.

  5. I gave up on American Idol years ago! I can only imagine it now...

Wow! I want to come to your house and eat! WAY better than dry cereal for sure.

Sorry that your tooth is hurting, hopefully your new crowns will be done very soon!

    Have a great week!
