When you arise in the morning, think of what a precious privilege it is to be alive — to breathe, to think, to enjoy, to love. #lifelessons
And that's why I link up with Ryan on Thursdays.
{I'm thankful} to have a warm place to call home. It's cold here in Alabama, and it's something we sometimes take for granted. I'm also thankful I have a warm ride, hot food, and a husband who's love keeps me warm.
{I'm thankful} for emails from friends who share good news with me. It makes my heart smile knowing others are experiencing great joy in their life.
{I'm thankful} for our dishwasher. (And no that's not me or the Mr.) Hand washing dishes ranks right up there with cleaning the toilet.
{I'm thankful} for technology to know what in the world the weather might do tomorrow. Praying we might see some sun this weekend. But of course, I secretly wouldn't mind seeing some snow.
{I'm thankful} to truly know what love is. I really never knew what it meant to be in love until I met the Mr, and I'm thankful everyday that our love strengthens and quadruples. Everyone deserves to be loved this much.
{I'm thankful} for the Mr's hilarious sense of humor. All joking aside, he really can say some of the funniest things at just the right time. And I especially love the way he makes up words to songs... i.e. "It's too late to get a job" to the tune of "It's too late to apologize." Yep, now you're laughing, too!
Funny husbands are the best. Because when we're old and gray, it'll be their senses of humor that make us remember why we married them. :)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite things about my husband is that he's funny as all get out.
ReplyDeleteI like this link up, I'm going to put a note in for next Thursday!
I am thankful for SUN!! Our dreary weather must have headed your way, and now... now I see the light! :)
ReplyDeleteHumor in marriage is awesome!
ReplyDeleteNew follower from the Thankful Thursday link-up.
ReplyDeleteYou have a lovely blog. :) My hubby and I are the same way about the dishes!
