It takes some courage to stand up and speak; it takes even more courage to open your mind and listen.

{Friday} evening after work, I picked up take out. Let's face it, last week was a long week and the Mr and I wanted nothing more than to eat and hit the bed. And that's exactly what we did. We were in bed before 8 o'clock, and it was wonderful. I'm blaming the sickness for my lack of energy, and wanting to go to bed early. But honestly, give me an early bedtime any night and I'm game! #wearegettingold
{Saturday} morning I got up cleaning the house, and washing clothes. Yep, everyone's favorite Saturday chores. But somehow I got lucky and the Mr told me he would take care of grocery shopping for me. I made the list of items we would need for our meal plans for the next couple of weeks and off he went. About an hour later he was home with everything except one item that they were out of. #score
That afternoon, we got a text from my mom saying they were coming over for dinner. So I managed to take a quick shower and put something on other than lounge clothes to head out to Jim N Nicks for dinner. And guess who was with them... Marsie Belle of course! Once we came back from dinner, the princess decided to show us who was boss! And it's no secret that she rules the roost when she's here.
Friday morning on my way to work, I noticed a package at the front door. And it was from Floyd and Sarah!! Yep, MB got her Frosty Paws package. And Saturday night, she tried it out for the first time! We tried the peanut butter flavor first, and she LOVES it. We only gave her half, and after I put it up, she kept whining at the fridge begging for more!
Please excuse the high pitch of my voice. Why is it when we talk baby talk, the higher our voice gets?!
{Saturday night into Sunday morning} MB was trying to get us back on her schedule. And man, I forgot how that little whine will wake you from a dead sleep. She did pretty good, and so did we I guess. She only got up two times... 11:25 and 5:45. But she thought it was play time after the 11:25 wake up call. However, it didn't take her long before she was ready for bed again.
{Sunday morning} she made sure we didn't sleep past 7:15. Even though 5 minutes later she piled up on the couch and went right back to sleep. So we took advantage and caught up with the DVR.
Since we didn't have breakfast, we were pretty much starving by lunch. So I made us some yummy hot sandwiches, but somebody kept beggin for her bite...
Later that afternoon, while I ironed and MB played outside, the Mr watched Battleship. Let's just say, the movie gave me such anxiety that I decided to go in the kitchen and bake something. I seriously can't take movies that like. And baking is calming to me...
Of course the night ended with some light grilling, and realty tv at it's finest. And with this one passing out waaaayy too early...

Your dog is too cute! My dogs love ANYTHING peanut butter flavored. It is quite ridiculous, actually. Chris and I were in bed by 9:00pm Friday, so we are right there with you on the old people boat!
