My sweet and lovely friends, Kalyn and Lauren, host a link up every Monday called "Coffee and Conversation" and today's topic is...
Who has influenced you the most in your life - personally or professionally - and why?

Personally...
Mrs. Barbara Williams. She's a friend of the family, and someone who has been around me my entire life. Growing up and watching her, it was easy to see she's a woman of God, and loves to be active in the community. She loves to throw dinner parties, and can make any event beautiful with her decorations. You'll never hear her complain about anything, and she will go over and beyond to put others first. She's one of those Southern ladies who is always put together, and will say "Bless Her Heart" at least 5 times a day. I've never seen her feathers ruffled, nor heard a cross word come out of her mouth. She raised two beautiful girls, who are now strong women and mother's of their families. She's not too good to be digging in the garden or the flower bed, and can be seen out on the farm helping her husband multiple times a day. And btw, she's one of the ones who will always have her Southern Living out in plain view cause most of the time she is trying out new recipes from each issue. She's always wearing a smile, and she's just a joy to be around. She's always been a part of my life, and I'm so thankful for her influence.
And y'all... I'm guest hosting over on Suze's blog today... click here to get that Red Velvet Whoopie Pies recipe!

She sounds awesome! I've been blessed with wonderful strong women in my life too. It's important to recognize them!
ReplyDeleteShe sounds like an amazing woman. I pray that lessons from her generation are passed down and continue to be around years to come.
