the Sowell life's Friday five...
In case y'all missed Wednesday and Thursday's posts on Houston... please go back and check them out. I had so much fun with my sweet sister, Darby, and I don't want y'all to miss out on all the awesomeness we had.
And because I felt like I needed one more post about Houston (I was there for three days you know) I'm going to give y'all my five favorite things about Houston!
2) {Tomlin & Rooney} These sweet babies welcomed me with loving paws, and snuggled with me in bed because my husband couldn't make this trip. I loved every moment with them, and can't wait to spoil them even more!
3) {my many firsts} I experienced a lot of firsts during this trip. Here's just a small list... shopping at HEB, eating gelato, eating cured meats, trying lamb and duck, savoring macaroons, devouring a crepe, falling in love with nutella, and so much more that I am sure I'm forgetting.
4) {seeing all the different parts of Houston} On Saturday, they took me on a tour of the city. I saw downtown, uptown, the medical district, the art district and even a few quinceaneras taking place.
5) {here a car, there a car, geez that's alotta cars} Oh the traffic. Maybe I didn't mind the traffic so much in Houston because I wasn't driving in it. But man, you'd think with 10 lanes on each side of the road that traffic wouldn't be so crazy and backed up. And the noodles. There are every where. I guess I just need to let Darby do a guest post on the way Houston is set up... it's interesting, but liberating at the same time. LOL And, and because I didn't know this, so I figure y'all don't either... Houston is the 3rd largest city in the United States! That's a lot of folks, y'all!!
Now, who's ready to link up?!! Thanks for stopping by, linking up, sharing the link up on your blog and on twitter, and for just being you — cause y'all are awesome!!! I appreciate y'all more than you'll ever know!!

I did not know Houston was the third largest city in the country!
