We decided to meet up at Hamburger Heaven. They have multiple locations in the Bham area, but we ate at the location off of 280. The service was friendly and quick. And they have more than just burgers on their menu.
I went with the cheeseburger special — just cheese and sauce.
They make and bottle their own blended sauce which is delicious by the way. And, you can purchase a bottle at any of their locations, or at Walmart or Publix.
Stephanie had the same burger, but she went for the cornballs instead of fries. They were delicious! And they also offer sweet potato fries. I should have ordered those, but no worries — that just gives me a reason to head back soon.
Have you enjoyed a meal at Hamburger Heaven? It's still fast food, and you'll pay the same price as you would at a chain restaurant — but the quality of the food is unbeatable.

Chris has been talking about that place since I moved here and has yet to ever take me! We pass the one on Crestwood Blvd every Sunday on our way to Bargain Hunt, but they aren't open on Sundays. I will have to head over that way another day and give it a try! I love a good burger.
ReplyDeleteHamburger Heaven is one of our absolute favorite places to eat! When the triplets were in the NICU, we would eat at the original HH (it was the only one 21 years ago) at least 2 or 3 times a week. Their onion straws are awesome, too! Oh, and I totally didn't know you could buy the sauce in Wal-Mart! THAT IS FANTASTIC!
ReplyDeleteYummmm sometimes a simple cheeseburger really hits the spot! And I am unfamiliar with these cornballs that you speak of but I'm intrigued!
ReplyDeleteWe love HH!!!! There's one right by our house. Justin is obsessed with the corn nuggets. I've never had them, but I hear they're good :)
ReplyDeleteCornballs! Man! I need to live closer...or travel more! It looks delish!
ReplyDeleteThe cornballs are my favorite! And, uh, the milkshakes are sinful! You've got to try the milkshakes!!
ReplyDeleteYum! Looks so good!
ReplyDeleteIt is 11:00 p.m. and now I want a hamburger! Just great!! I loved driving over to Bham when I lived in T-town and going to Johnny Rockets!! :)
ReplyDeleteI have never been there! But I would love to try it out now. Looks like a great place for a burger fix!
ReplyDeleteI've never had this, but those fries look really good lol My mouth is watering :-)
ReplyDeleteYou had me hooked when you mentioned cornballs! We need a place like that down here on the gulf coast.
