I'm longing for...

candy corn • SEC football • falling leaves • cooler temperatures • pumpkins • mums • burlap decor • the holidays • soups for dinner • snuggling up with blankets • new seasons of TV shows for Fall • Halloween candy • #hailstate • cowbells • cookouts with friends • celebrating family birthdays • holiday movies • Christmas shopping (online that is) • nights by the fireplace • early night snuggles with the Mr • opening the windows to enjoy the fresh air • porch sitting without sweating • rivalry football games • the smell of Fall in the air • new candles with pumpkin and cinnamon scents • hot chocolate • the time change (and I fully realize I might be the only one) • fun road trips • tailgating recipes • seeing family members • the Mr not having to cut our grass • organization in our office/guest room • cardigan weather • fleece pajamas • wearing a jacket in the morning and evenings • the hustle and bustle in the air • sales, sales, and more sales • Christmas lights • laughter from multiple blow ups in people's yards • no mosquitos, gnats or any other bugs • a snow day • the sound of kids playing in the afternoons after school • fall festivals

Basically I'm over the dog days of summer — bring me Fall/Winter!

  2. I'm kind of in the middle. We've had some pretty cool temps up here in Philly that I have thoroughly enjoyed this week. But I still do love me some warm weather. I think the transition between summer and fall is my faovirte time of year. I love being able to wear a hoodie or sweater without a huge, bulky winter coat. And.. LOVE me some pumpkin ales!!!

  7. I have really enjoyed the cool temps we've had here in Philly over the past few weeks. Normally by this point I'm so over summer, but it hasn't been that oppressive here. Some nights have been downright chilly!
