the Sowell life's Friday five...
2) {MB comes for a visit} My sweet girl came for a few days this week to spend some time with me. We took naps, watched tv and napped some more. Ha! She's back in Mississippi, but I know she'll be back soon for another visit.
3) {Haircut} I got my haircut on Tuesday. It had been 4 months, and it was needed. She chopped over 2 inches off and it looks so much better. I've decided I'll probably get another cut in February before the baby comes. And, I'll probably get it colored either right before or right after the baby is here. The jury is still out on that one.
4) {Yes, I eat veggies!} I grew up eating a meat and two vegetables with almost every meal. Well, it kinda stuck. So we have carried on that tradition here at the Sowell house. Oh, and we also rock the paper plates most of the time. Fine china at it's best, y'all!
5) {TS Karen} Alabama is looking like we will be wet this weekend with some wind from the tropical system out in the gulf. I'm game as long as we don't have bad weather. Cause you know rainy weather makes for the best naps.

ReplyDeleteYou call your blog friend dates "blates"?? I love it, and plan on stealing it :) I hope the weather isn't too bad for you guys. I have to admit, I was really glad TS Karen was east of Houston. Although, a weekend full of rain to be lazy would be heavenly :) Hope it's awesome for you!

ReplyDeleteI am a little jealous of the TS, BUT I won't complain - we are getting a chilly front coming in!
I LOVE that you have a good friend due around the same time. Cherish that. Make yourselves get the babies together. Oh - my opinion - color your hair before the baby. It will make you feel great. And you will look amazing and won't be stressed afterwards because you want it done!
I am a protein two veggies gal too. usually a starch as well. I never vary it lol. I wish we had a rainy weekend ahead, though I ope you do not get bad weather. I got my hair taken care of right before Nicky came because of all the photo ops, haha. Glad I did it!
