Pretty Little Dresses & Shoes

Monday, November 18, 2013

It's hard to picture me as a baby, even though I've seen photos. But, what's even harder for me to imagine is the fact that my sweet AC will be wearing some of the same dresses I wore, 32 years ago.

That's right, mom saved a lot of my dresses from when I was a baby. And she brought them over a few weeks ago to hang in AC's closet. I've already picked out the dress she will come home in, and I can't wait to see her in it.

Here are some of the dresses and shoes from my baby years that she brought over for AC.

This is the one I'm 99.9% sure she is coming home in from the hospital. Of course, it all depends how big she is when she is born.

And check out these little newborn lacy shoes...

There are many more outfits and shoes from my baby years that are in her closet and drawers, and I can't wait til she's here so we can play dress up. On another note, I think we have about 15 newborn outfits so far. And... I hope to photograph those and show y'all soon.

  1. Aw so sweet! I love seeing my baby stuff. Of course, I don't have anything from when I was newborn, but I have some things from when my parents got me. It is so precious that you will be able to share with AC! :) Love to see that.

  5. That dress is adorable! How lucky are you! I was a preemie so I probably won't be able to use any of my clothes!

  7. I LOVE this! The dresses are so sweet. And it makes me feel better about hoarding all of my baby girls newborn dresses.
