the Sowell life's Friday five...
1) {Hello Winter Weather} The weather Monday and Tuesday was a little, um, cold. The Mr told me to stay indoors which was no problem because this pregnant girl doesn't have any clothes that are warm enough that fit. Of course on Tuesday, the power went out not once, not twice, but three times. Thankfully it was fully restored before dark. I never stepped foot out of the house, but the Mr told me it was COLD. It didn't last long though, we are back in the upper 50s again.
2) {New Jewels} While we were gone for the holidays, we had our mail held. And when we got back I had a sweet package in the mail from Jessica. It's a necklace she had made for both our angel baby and little AC.
3) {Baby Bump Update} Little AC has been having the hiccups about twice a day here lately, and she's getting bigger which means momma is getting bigger, too.
4) {Tum Ta Ta Ta TUMS} These things have become a huge part of my life over the past week. I've needed them a lot during the pregnancy, but last week I kinda had a small break from them. I might have only had 5 all week. Well, this week it came back FULL FORCE. It's a good thing the Dr said they are okay for you, and eat as many as you need.
5) {Cute Accessories} I've become a huge fan of amazon.com. And I found these sweet headbands for AC on there. They arrived on Wednesday and we can't wait to see them on our little girl in March.

Even up here in Philadelphia/NJ, 9 degrees is flipping cold! I can't imagine you guys down south really get temps like that very often! Mr is right, it was FREEZING! I'm glad he told you to stay indoors (hoooray for not having clothes that fit!) and glad your lack of power was resolved fairly quickly!

Amazon changed my life over the holidays. I'm trying to stay far away from it due to my spending freeze, but otherwise, LOVE IT!

i had heartburn something awful during my pregnancy as well. TUMS were God sent. It always seems like heartburn would hit right when I wanted to lay down and sleep. Hope you are feeling good!

ReplyDeleteYou got a lot of super cute things in the mail, and of course I love to see you and AC grow; It makes me smile :-) I hear the old wives tale that heartburn means more hair. I don't know how true that is, but she may just arrive ready for all those cute bows you just got :-)
ReplyDeleteLove to see that growing bump! Heartburn sucks. And like others have said - I was told it was a sign of hair. I barely had any with the Bird and she was bald until 2 years old, so I kinda believe it! :) LOVE LOVE LOVE the headbands. Super cute! Have a wonderful relaxing weekend. Now that the temps are back to normal!!
