Happy Fall, Y'all!

After not taking any photos with my "big" camera before, during, and right after AC's birth; I vowed to not make that mistake again. And let's be honest — iPhone cameras are pretty awesome, but I'm still kicking myself for only using it in the hospital. (The "big" camera was in the room... in the bag... charged... next to the bed. Don't get me started.)

Since we've been home with our baby girl, I'm always using my camera. And most of the time I upload those to my iPhone to share on instagram, twitter and Facebook. Yep, I just let the cat out of the bag.

I couldn't wait to take some pictures of our little one for her first Fall/Halloween! The Mr thought I was crazy gathering all the props, but when he saw them together, he loved it!

I gave a little teaser picture of the set up on instagram earlier on Sunday morning (and it was taken with my iPhone)...

I had so much fun setting everything up for the shoot. Of course below was the first picture I took of AC, and thankfully she was smiling watching the leaves blowing. The rest of the pictures she's not happy. She figured out grass was underneath the blanket, and apparently, she hates grass. But thank goodness I was able to get a smile the with first shot!

  1. AC is adorable! Your set up is perfect. It is so easy to catch pictures on the iPhone, but I agree that the "big" camera is the best.

  2. I can't stand how cute she is! Seriously, I just adore her smile! The props turned out great; I wish we lived closer and I could just swing by with Dutch and let you work your "big" camera magic!
